About Me:
Let me get back to you... I should have listened to Larry sooner. By the way, I am basically an irrepressibly happy person even if I can disguise myself. I have a large crooked, lopsided chesire grin - and I LOVE to use it!!!
Favorite Poet or Author:
L. Ron Hubbard, Ray Bradbury, and many more. I am primarily a musician along with being a human rights activist. I write poetry and Larry has been a huge supporter for me to evolve and do more. But when you ask me about writers... besides the above - and that I do love folks like Edna St. Vincent Millay and Robert Browning - I think of songwriters like Bob Dylan, Schubert, etc. To me, music is poetry in motion.

"Yes"

I would have said "yes" to anything you asked like a passionate rebel walking with pride to guillotine. I would have said "yes" to anything you desired if if was what you truly wanted from me. I would have said "yes" to any request if I knew it would bring you happiness. I would have walked a thousand deserts with you as my water. I would have swam all the oceans with me as your desire. I could have, I would have... but you never asked. 22 Nov 2007

At the Pool Hall

Remember that dream I had?

The reoccuring one I told you about?

When I slip and start to fall

and in my sleep my legs jerk

with the sensation of gravity falling away...

I always wake up before I hit the ground

but know regardless it is coming.

I fo

Sleep Will Find You

Sleep will find you
in those dark, foreboding corners
where I know you like to hide.
It will find you in your restlessness
when the song wasn't quite right
and the moon not full enough.
She will find you when your pillow is too hard,
too barren, alone though the thoughts
of lovers past slip irrevocably through
your steel, bewitched mind.
Rest will find you with ghosts beckoning…

G'day. It's said that art has no words, for, it's mainly of the eye, yet, yours do and are, as is your site, work, life and vision; Blessed be... A poems line comes to mind :) "...and death (murder) shall have no dominion...", Dylan Thomas. As an ode to him, I wrote the following twig of poetree, in a similar style :)

C'est La Unvie

A million monarchs lie dead, though,

No less sociological programming of

Upper-middle to rich classes with

Decadence, affluence, inclusion, is.

No less societal determination of

Middle to lower, being excluded by

Division and conquering, privation.

Yet, they, on wing no more, still fly

In our spirit's eye, heal humanities'

Heart. While their silent cry echoes

The 33,000 species extinct each year,

A rate not seen since the last ice age

Ensued; does it move you?

Does your curiosity ask why?

Will you, on this 33rd Earth Day, allow

A tear for all life's fallen? Consider

The losses economic apartheid incurs,

Mirrored by the divide human-centricity

Has levied? Our underlying duplicitous

Disregard for life, greed and oil fueled,

Won't abate for our existence, will you?

( For the beautiful butterflies, et tu, mon amis )
