Your poems are so thought provoking. They leave me wanting to do something, anything to help make people aware of the lack of humanity, the government lies and all the injustices in the world. But that is what wonderful poetry is supposed to do is...

Island

You are an island
In a sea of wilderness
And separation

Deciduous trees,
The visions
Stones,
The desires
Shells,
Gathered from timeless coasts

Vessels are conveyed
To far off shores
and
Occassionally
Seek refuge by yours

Yet-
You are an island
Set apart
Alone
Far from the bosom of tenderness
Concealed in
What is unrevealed
Cloaked in obscurity

Your spirit
Is enclosed
Within your island
It is your being
I am
My island too-

Islands in a sea
Of wilderness
and
Separation

Were we not so-
I would hear your call
And only whisper
Your countenance
Would appear to be
My mirror-

O' Motherland

O’ Motherland

We love you so much
And for you we stand
Holding hand in hand
Across rivers and oceans
Races and generations
Mountains of rocks and sand

And loudly we shout
United we stand
To love and cherish our motherland
Nurse the wounds of the woods
And defend, river, ocean and land

Protect forests against intruders
Hunters, loggers and shooters
Who want to hunt, cut trees and flowers
Make the green meadows brown and sad
And God so mad

United we stand
To defend our beloved homeland
Agains… Continue

Continue

Do You Have a Clue

Do you have a clue
My friends
Do you have a clue
Why the poor are so many
And the rich are only a few

Why natives struggle in North and South
Suffer the pain of alienation
Live in poverty and deprivation
And can't express their points of view
And nothing of their history
Is just or true

Do you have a clue
Why American conservatives are determined to drill
For black gold and gas that smell
Poison oceans and destroy forests
And make the landscape an empty shell
Why they love black and brown
And… Continue
