- Rumi and Walter Benton are my favorite ancestral poets and Romus Simpson, Nafeesa Monroe and Jay the Revolutionary MC are three of my favorite living poets. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Richard Matteson, Eric Jerome Dickey and Odie Hawkins.
