You saw the abyss.
And at that point
where you might have faltered,
where others had turned in horror
and fled,

chose
to continue forward.
To see through,
to the end
that which must be seen through.
And to not turn away.
You found

For I do not participate

I surpass it.

I overthrow and change it as inexorably as time - which is kin to me.
