About Me:
Young Congolese poet and novelist interested in human rights issues. I came to writing as I believed in the power artistic and litterary languages have as regards bringing about change in the minds and in social relationships.

My writting aims especially at calling attention around and mobilize solidary people for the care to children and women victims of armed conflicts. This include partnering with other poets on social healing art projects and other solidary cultural projects in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. It with great joy that I was awarded (February 2008) a Medal from the Presidency of the Italian Republic at the Castello di Duino International Poetry Competition.

I have contributed in some collective poetry work, including "Frontiers" (Ibiskos Edition, Italy, 2007) and "Oltra la Parola" (Ibiskos, 2008).
Favorite Poet or Author:
Dino Buzzatti
