I live in Boston today. I grew up in the Kansas City area.

About Me:
I am a poet and photographer in the Boston area. I exhibit and sell my landscape prints in local cafes and in the Out of the Blue Art Gallery in Cambridge Mass. I have been involved in Human Rights Activism since 1990. Evern before that though my writing focused on issues of social justice.

Favorite Poet or Author:
For Human Rights this would be Alexander Solzhenitsyn and Elie Wiesel.
In Fiction, I enjoy George Orwell and Franz Kafka. In Poetry, I enjoyed
Carolyn Forche's (ed.) Book "Against Forgetting" . Pabblo Neruda is another favorite.

Thanks for your kind words. I write every day and imagine a different, more peaceful world. The occupation of Iraq, the militarization of border and immigration control in the U.S. (with its deadly toll of migrant deaths and disappeared at the U.S.-Mexico border and the incarceration, criminalization and deportation/disappearing of immigrants) and the daily coercion and violence of lack of living wage jobs and Bush keeping intruding their skeletal hands into my ink. I am living with Jiri Jiru, in house in Prague 4, he was a personal phothograf of our former president Vaclav Havel per 5 years. Sudek is the famous and very uccessful artist photograf well know and probably the most rich as well. So it is posible to be full time artist. He ha also own galery in centrum of Prague and if you are really interested to come to Prague you can one day viit Prague with your wife and you will enjoy it and alo artwork of many great artits. Hi, Ed! Hey, my high school Nonwestern Civilization teacher's name was Mr. Gault.

Mostly, I've written the lyrics to songs, and they can be any kind of song. When I write or collaborate on the music, it's kind of haunting pretty stuff. I wrote a couple country ballads, too.
